Our city has changed a lot since the time I was a little girl growing up here and especially during my time on the Council. Sparks has been my home since childhood. It was a wonderful place to raise my sons, and it’s now a great place to be a “senior” and enjoy it with my retired husband. I love Sparks and I want to continue to do what I can to keep it an enjoyable & affordable place to live.

Responsible Budgeting
Keeping Sparks financially strong starts with smart choices. I’ll focus on efficient operations, new revenue opportunities like naming rights and city land sales, and a fair share of sales tax revenue. I’ll also pursue more grants and partnerships — and continue leading by example in fiscal responsibility by declining the July raise given by the Nevada Legislature saving the City General Fund $36K.
Public Safety
Safety comes first. I support strong community policing, tougher penalties for violent and retail crimes, and continued investment in our Fire Department, ambulances, and emergency response. A safe city is a thriving city.
Roads & Traffic
Our roads need to move with us. I’ll expand the Sparks Intelligent Corridors Project to ease congestion, continue improving key routes like Sparks Blvd, and work with RTC and NDOT to keep major roadways efficient and well-maintained. Smart technology and proactive upkeep save money — and time.
Quality of Life
Sparks is known for its small-town feel and big opportunities. I’ll keep it that way by supporting safe neighborhoods, family-friendly parks and events, and outdoor recreation from the Marina to Golden Eagle Regional Park. With a growing economy, more jobs, and affordable housing partnerships, we’ll make sure Sparks stays a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
